![]() ![]() It's a unique algorithm you won't find anywhere else, a very modern take on how to make reverbs. These are clones of very famous reverb classics and since I personally spent a number of months being Chinese water tortured by the sound of reverb tails coming from the lab at Softube HQ, I can personally guarantee they're indistinguishable from the originals … It is true that we made the RC24 and RC48 for Native Instruments. I'm bsaically wondering what they held back in the NI cooperation. Very helpful answer :DĪnd you're right, the thought occured because of the sale. the 48 bests the 24 for many acoustic instrument and vocal duties though, at least for meĪnd I'm sure you are aware that softube made the RC reverbs with native instruments, so the RC verbs should be on par with the other softube reverbs as far as quality, and they may even cross over in some aspects of features and sonic characteristics.Īnd I'm sure you are aware that softube made the RC reverbs with native instruments, so the RC verbs should be on par with the other softube reverbs as far as quality, and they may even cross over in some aspects of features and sonic characteristics.Thank you very much. i found this one to better for synths more often than the 48, due to its more spontaneous and characteristic sound. you can get some really great "thwack-back" type sounds from it. For room reverbs and Hall reverbs, it is my absolute favorite. It also has this ability to "glue" itself to whatever you are putting it on, thats the best i can describe it. Its a great balance between musicality and realism. More than any other reverb I've used, it has the ability to sound very realistic and true to the sound of a room, as well as the ability to get magical and trail-ish. Thats not to say its useless for electronic music, because it certainly isn't. The 48 is my go to for reverb bus when I'm doing mixing for indie rock, singer-songwriter, orchestral, anything that needs a realistic space. I can speak for the Ni rc 24/48, and I can confidently say that they are both incredible. Does this have anything to do with the 50% sale going on with the softube verbs? hahaĬan't speak for the softube stuff unfortunately, I don't have much from them (yet).
